A blanket of snow arrived before Copenhagen Fashion Week began, and the bitter cold continued throughout the week. Instead of retreating into predictable winter wear, the best-dressed attendees used the weather as part of styling, replacing classic hats and winter scarves with sculptural pillbox hats and fluffy hats that brought elegance to the streets.

Animal print is one of the most impressive trends of Copenhagen street style. If you are wondering which print is in focus – the answer is all of them. Scandinavian women choose leopard, zebra and snake patterns and wear them as statement pieces. High collars remain a trend this year as well – the popularity of one such model has increased by as much as 334% in just one month. In the past, high collars served only for functionality and protection from the cold, while today they represent a key aesthetic detail that defines the entire outfit.
