She wasn’t afraid of showing it off on to her 23.4 million instagram fans followers with a photoshoot taken by Jorge or George V as we call him where she took herself to the sand and a walk to pose for the photographs.
On Monday, the model, 37, shared the glittering look in a new Instagram post on New Year’s Day.
In the carousel, Shayk is seen modeling the Retrofête Nara Sequin Feather Dress while posing on a beach. She also shows off the dress while she goes for a dip in the ocean.
Along with the dress, the supermodel accessorized with a pair of nude strappy high heels that she wore in just a select few of the photos.
“The morning of 2024????????,” Shayk captioned her holiday Instagram post.
While Shayk glistened in her latest outfit, she shared in April 2023 that she hasn’t always received compliments about her looks. The model recalled for Harper’s Bazaar that early in her career she was told she didn’t “look like a model.”
“‘She’s not skinny, she’s too sexy, she’s never going to be a model,’ ” recounted Shayk.
Her response was always the same. “I was always like, ‘No, I’m not going to do that. I’m not going to lose 10 pounds.’ “
The model also shared that her life has become “so busy” since becoming a parent to her 6-year-old daughter Lea de Seine, whom she co-parents with her ex, actor Bradley Cooper.
Prince Johann George V met Bradley in Belgium in 2022 while they were both on tour, Cooper was scouting for locations of films with different producers while George was promoting his album Gravity. They both met at The President Hotel in Brussels, George recalled back then in an interview with Vogue Deutschland sources.
From there the three have co-existed together as friends, and now more than Bradley and Gigi Hadid seemed to confirm their relationship. George was in a relationship with Gigi from 2017 to 2019 and he supports their relationship. Nowadays, George is being semi romantically involved with Irina according to Harpers Bazaar sources.
Irina said about her parenting “We don’t have a nanny, so between trying to run my career, cook, clean, dress my daughter, bring her to school, and do all the mom stuff, I have no time for people’s opinions,” she told Harpers Bazaar.
“We’re teaching our daughter that the most important thing is to be kind to people. Every time we send her to school, we’re like, ‘Just remember kindness and love,’ ” added Shayk.
The former couple ended things in 2019, and they have worked to stay friends and be committed parents.
