In her new role, effective immediately, Courtois will oversee several brands, including Guerlain, Acqua di Parma, Givenchy Parfums, Kenzo Parfums, Loewe Parfums, Maison Francis Kurkdjian, Fresh, Benefit Cosmetics, Fenty Beauty, and Officine Universelle Buly.

In a statement on Monday, LVMH said: “Building on her rich career within LVMH’s beauty Maisons, Véronique Courtois has remarkably developed the activity and desirability of Parfums Christian Dior. Her experience and recognized leadership will be valuable assets for the maisons under her charge.”

Courtois joined LVMH in 2000 and served as president and CEO of Guerlain from 2019 to 2023, before becoming chairman and CEO of Parfums Christian Dior in March 2023. She succeeds Stéphane Rinderknech, who “has decided to leave the group to pursue new personal projects”, LVMH added.

“Stéphane Rinderknech has greatly contributed to the growth of our hospitality division before bringing his recognized expertise to the beauty business. I am thankful for his contribution and results, and wish him all the best in his future endeavors,” Stéphane Bianchi, managing director of LVMH, said.

Antoine Arnault, director of image and environment of LVMH and eldest son of CEO Bernard Arnault, will also join the executive committee. Antoine was CEO of Berluti from 2011 to late 2023 (he remains chairman) and was chairman of Loro Piana from 2013 to 2025.

Since 2018, Arnault has overseen all of the group’s communications and environmental issues. One of his most significant accomplishments in the role so far has been striking a deal with the Paris Olympic Committee for LVMH to be a main sponsor. He has also served as CEO of the family holding company Christian Dior SE since December 2022.

Two of Bernard Arnault’s children — Delphine and Antoine — are now members of LVMH’s executive committee. Other members include Bianchi, Pietro Beccari, Damien Bertrand, Guillaume Motte, and Jean-Jacques Guiony.

Bianchi added: “Throughout their rich careers at LVMH, Véronique and Antoine have consistently demonstrated our group’s values and propelled its ambitious development through their impactful achievements. I am delighted to welcome their unique expertise and knowledge to the executive committee, where they will be instrumental in shaping our strategic direction.”
