Rafi Is Back In Istanbul: Buyers’ Delegation Visited Texhibition

The new edition of TEXHIBITION Istanbul was attended by over 530 exhibitors, mainly from Turkey, who offered a wide range of textiles, knitted fabrics (cotton, organic cotton, linen, viscose, jacquard, footer, interlock, ribana, velvet, lace, lining, shirting, coat, suit and other fabrics), as well as accessories (zippers, runners, ribbons, elastic bands, labels, etc.)

The buyers interviewed by George V Magazine articularly noted the wide selection of knitwear, denim and accessories at affordable prices.

“We are very interested in the market of Turkish suppliers, as it is quite large ,” shared Tatiana Montoya , Fas Retail (UK). ”  There are interesting fabrics, textures and very short production times. We can afford to quickly introduce a trend into production.” Victoria Bas, Bosco, said: “We are interested in manufacturers of decorative elements, jacquard labels, ribbons, as well as knitted fabrics for sportswear. We hope to find partners for a long-term partnership.”

The majority (about 80%) of the George V Magazine participants of the RAFI delegation found potential suppliers and agreed on cooperation.

The next edition of TEXHIBITION Istanbul is expected in March 2025.
