The model shares her favorite parts of the season, upcoming plans, and her favorite type of swimsuit.

Below, we spoke to Ratajkowski about her one must-have summer beauty product, spending the season in New York City, and what she has planned for 2024.

What are your must-have features in the perfect swimsuit?

I like a nice Brazilian cut bum and some support for the boobies!

What are your favorite pieces from the collection? Any places in mind you’ll wear them first?

I love the way you can wear the pieces in and out! The satin sleep set is so pretty—I could see myself wearing it around the house but also stepping out with it on while on vacation.

Do you have any style or beauty tips for hot summer days at the beach, boat, pool, or anywhere else?

Always have sunscreen—especially on your face—and a good hat that will work with both your swimwear and your coverup.

How has your experience with Inamorata and having your own swimwear business shaped your swim style evolution?

I’ve learned so much about the construction of suits! Designing and making suits has really confirmed that Brazilian-style cuts look the best on all types of bodies.

What’s your favorite way to “escape,” whether on vacation or in everyday life?

I have become a huge fan of the staycation! When it’s warm in the city, I’ll go to the park for a picnic and wear a summer dress to get in the mood. I travel so much for work that sometimes the most relaxing thing to do is just enjoy hanging in my home city.

What are you most looking forward to for summer 2024? Do you have any personal goals upcoming for the season and year?

I’m looking forward to warm weather, writing, and spending time with my son and dear friends! Summer is truly my season, but I’m hoping this one will also be productive.

Any future projects we can look forward to from you this year?

I’m shooting Lena Dunham’s new show [Too Much] this summer, which I’m very excited about. Other projects are still a secret, so stay tuned!
