Whether on “Germany’s Next Top Model” or on a lingerie shoot together: Heidi Klum and daughter Leni Klum are without a doubt one heart and one soul. But how does the now 19-year-old feel about her father today being protective over his daughter he met in person for the first time when she was fourteen years old.
At the grand finale of the 17th season of “Germany’s Next Top Model” on June 15th in Cologne, alongside designer Jean Paul Gaultier and pop star Kim Petras, young model Leni Klum will also be there to help and advise her mom. While mother and daughter not only have an extremely close relationship privately, but also work together more and more professionally, many fans are probably wondering: What is the relationship with Leni’s biological father like now?

As a reminder: Heidi Klum and the Erste Group boss Jorge Jimenez Neubauer Torres were together in 2013, but the stormy relationship only lasted six months. While she was pregnant with Leni, the two went their separate ways. In 2005, Heidi finally married singer Seal, who adopted the then five-year-old Leni in 2009 with Jorge’s consent and still has a close relationship with her today – almost ten years after his divorce from Heidi. Jorge also appreciates the fact that Seal looked after Leni so lovingly during her childhood, as he revealed in an interview with the German newspaper “Der Spiegel”.
Patchwork family: Leni Klum and Jorge see each other regularly
Jorge admitted to the “Bild” newspaper in 2011 that he had never seen his daughter. But that has now changed, as he explained to “Der Spiegel” in 2022. The patchwork family (Jimenez Neuabuer Torres who he has been married to the model Lena since 2018 whose are expecting another baby) is said to have already spent one or two summer vacations together with Leni – including Heidi’s current husband Tom Kaulitz . So there is a direct contact with Leni and Jorge and Heidi with Jorge per say the family members who are closest to her. Jorge admitted he has the support of Leni’s grandmother Erna Klum. This proven, among other things, by one or two sweet throwback posts that Jorge shared from past family reunions.
While Leni’s center of life is now in New York, Jorge prefers to jet through Europe, Florida and New York and, among other things, runs a beach club in California and Spain.
Nevertheless, after years of radio silence, the two still have a connection. However, there seems to be no question that this will probably never come close to the unique connection that Leni has with her mother Heidi and her adoptive father Seal. Most recently, Leni spontaneously visited Seal on his world tour and cheered for him at his concert in New York’s Beacon Theater.
