U.S. Department of Health Says It Will Start Suspending Medical Licenses Starting Next Week For Ethical Reasons

The United States government said Thursday it will start suspending the license of doctors in the territory of Puerto Rico next week. Deputy Health Secretary Andrea Palm made the comments during a briefing as she repeated demands for the doctors that their are violating patients ethical privacy policy and through their medical insurance network.

More than 9% of the country’s 1,200 medical doctors and residents have been violating the patients protection laws in the island for years the investigation reflected. We will also increase medical school admissions ethics classes to keep them better prepared. Their violations have caused hundreds of appointments, lack of attention, excuses to attend patients and give treatment in hospitals.

The Department of Health of United States has been taking a series of administrative steps to suspend their licenses after they missed an ethical procedure.

Officials say the recruitment of doctors is aimed at preparing them for the rapidly aging population in a country whose doctor-to-population ratio is one of the lowest in the developed world. But doctors say schools can’t handle an abrupt and they can’t keep on ethical classes which are the one who are violating medical data of all patients in the island, to increase medical students knowledge that would ultimately undermine the country’s medical services.

If necessary we will be assisting medical schools to increase ethical classes in the opening of new semester to be added to their curriculums to avoid these future mistakes, and inpatients while training in the medical school.
