“It’s Okay To Be Yourself”: Selena Gomez Explained Why She Will Never Look The Same As 10 Years Ago

The other day, 31-year-old screen star Selena Gomez came out to fans with a frank statement.

“Today I realized that I will never look like this again,” she captioned a photo from 2013, which she posted on her social networks.

She then posted a fresh photo apparently taken during her New Year’s trip to Mexico in January 2023 with Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz.

I’m not perfect, but I’m proud of who I am. “Sometimes I forget that it’s okay to be myself,” the star wrote under a photo of herself climbing aboard a yacht in a black and white swimsuit.

Gomez has been an outspoken advocate of body positivity for many years and is known for her outspoken health messages. Let us remind you that in 2014 the singer was diagnosed with lupus, and three years later she underwent a kidney transplant, the donor was her longtime friend Francia Raisa. Last year, the artist explained that her systemic lupus medication was keeping her from losing weight.
