Whether you make it for yourself, like a quiet ritual after a long day, or for friends on cold winter evenings, this recipe promises the perfect combination of sweetness, warmth and sophisticated taste.
Ingredients (for 2 cups):
- 2 cups of milk (maybean, if desired)
- 100 g of dark or milk chocolate, chopped
- 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder (if desired, for a more intense taste)
- 2 tablespoons sugar (you can customize to taste)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Icing or marshmallow for decoration (optional)
Preparation:
- In a small pot, heat the milk on a medium heat, making sure it does not boil.
- Add the chopped chocolate and cocoa powder, stir until completely melted and the mixture becomes smooth.
- Add the sugar and vanilla, and continue to stir until everything is nice.
- Remove from the fire and pour into the cups.
- If desired, decorate with whipped cream, marshmallow or sprinkle some cocoa or grated chocolate.
Advice:
- For extra rich taste, add a pinch of salt or a little cinnamon.
- If you like creamy texture, replace 1⁄4 milk with cooking cream.
