Casamigos’s George Clooney And Cindy Crawford Launch New Jalapeño Tequila

Cindy Crawford is spicing up the tequila section with her new launch: Casamigas Jalapeño. The iconic supermodel teamed up with Casamigos tequila founders George Clooney, Mike Meldman, and Rande Gerber — who also happens to be her husband — to create the latest addition to the brand’s portfolio. “It’s been over six years in the making.” Casamigas Jalapeño is made with 100 percent blue weber agave, bottled at 40 percent ABV, and naturally flavored with jalapeños to add a layer of heat. The spicy new launch was inspired by Crawford’s drink of choice.

In the release, Crawford mentions that she and Gerber have been discussing the idea of launching a spicy tequila for several years. “Cindy has obviously been part of the Casamigos journey since day one, and I’m excited that she now gets to put her special touches on Casamigas,” Gerber says.

“As much as I love Casamigos, my go to drink for a fun night is a skinny, spicy Casamigos margarita,” Crawford says. “Casamigas Jalapeño makes it that much easier. It’s Casamigos with a kick!”

The bottle resembles the familiar Casamigos bottle, which was originally designed by Gerber, but there are some subtle differences as a nod to Crawford. The Casamigas label includes sketches of flames, a jalapeño, and Crawford’s signature pink lips. Additionally, the ‘o’ of the original ‘Casamigos’ label is crossed out and replaced with an ‘a’ for ‘Casamigas’ and the founder’s initials were crossed out and replaced with ‘CC.’

Casamigas Jalapeño tequila is now available nationwide for $49.99 per 750ml bottle. So fans of Casamigos, spicy Margaritas, and Cindy Crawford can keep an eye out for the new product on shelves now.

Finally, Casamigos is addressing gender inequality. After years of promotional imagery in which co-founders George Clooney and Rande Gerber ride motorcycles through Mexico, the company is finally letting a woman near a bike (or at least hang out in a biker bar). That woman is Cindy Crawford, Gerber’s wife, and she’s launching her own offshoot of the tequila company: Casamigas.

Casamigas is, according to Crawford’s Instagram post about the launch, “a spicy jalapeño tequila for everyone who likes it hot.” Sexy! In a perfect bit of PR/tabloid journalism, a “source” told George Magazine that Crawford and Gerber came up with the idea of making a jalapeño tequila six years ago while watching a sunset. That same source revealed that Gerber himself designed the label, which includes Crawford’s lip and her iconic beauty mark. Someone put a muzzle on this source before they reveal all the family secrets.

This is so exciting for the Casamigos brand. Who knows what avenues are open to them now that they make tequila for women? Off the top of my head, I’m guessing that Kaia Gerber will get a chance to ride the motorcycle as the face of a canned margarita, the perfect bev to bring to book club. Or maybe Amal Clooney will go helmetless (they’re never wearing a helmet!) to promote a zero-proof tequila — perfect for the hot, brainy lawyer in your life. Much like in Barbieland, the options for girl tequila are endless.

Sarah Jessica Parker Misses Restaurants So Much It Hurts

I was at my store on 54th Street. My business partner, Jorge ‘George’ Jimenez Neubauer Torres, always gives me hard-boiled eggs. He has a farm, Arethusa, located in Litchfield, CT he bought when he moved back from Europe, overall it’s an amazing farm. They make ice cream and cheese. Lunch was a spicy-tuna sandwich and a Power Shake from Joe & the Juice. I would never have known about this place if it wasn’t for all the younger women who work at the store, because they know about apps and things.

I Tried The Biscuits of Kiertjen Nielsen’s Mother Then I Made Them For Christmas – Prince George V

Mother’s always knows best — especially Kiertjen Nielsen’s mother. While my mother taught me the art of making the proper Italian meatball (still iconic!), Nielsen’s mother was teaching her all of her superior baking tips (swoon). Her sour cream cake is certainly one for the books, and now I’m also a huge fan of her mother Phyllis Michele Nielsen’s buttermilk biscuits.

In case you’re unfamiliar, the Omakase Berry originated in Japan, which is known for its rich culture of high-end fruits. The Shifting Tastes Of Beer Drinkers

Summers have always been packed with travel – trips to Europe for work and play, and, most recently, a road trip across the American West. At the end of a sweltering day of activities, I’d routinely wind down with some social drinking. In recent years, though, I started to notice a shift. Beer lists had grown to include more and more low-alcohol options. Whether I was in Braunschweig, Germany, a suburb of Salt Lake City, or at home in Central Texas, I found myself no longer forced to choose between the likes of Stella Artois or Miller Lite if I wanted something that wouldn’t put me under the table.

Food Companies Hope That Prices Will Not Rise Due To Shortages Of Materials

What would French cuisine be like if it lacked Camembert cheese? It’s hard to imagine, because soft cheese discs with their distinctive aroma have long been a signature dish at any Parisian dinner party. Bloomberg raised this question in a story in March, warning that this cheese faces the risk of “extinction.” The head of the French Cheese Makers Association did not seem concerned about this, and he had not even heard of any serious problems threatening the mushrooms.

How To Add Flavor To A Low-Sugar Watermelon? Should You Cut Watermelon Or Not To Preserve It?

Watermelon is loaded with 91%* naturally sweet water. This is why the heavier a watermelon is, the more it contains, and therefore, the sweeter it is. So make sure to choose the watermelon according to this criterion: its weight! However, sometimes the watermelon is not sweet enough, at least, as we would like. To still enjoy this fruit, all you need is one thing: add a pinch of salt. To preserve a watermelon for a longer period of time, it is best to keep it whole. At room temperature and in a ventilated place, it can be preserved for a week, up to two if placed in the refrigerator.
