A Grenade Thrown Into A Bar In Grenoble, France, Exploded – Dozens Injured

According to Al Arabiya at least twelve people have been injured in Grenoble, France, after a grenade exploded in a local bar on Wednesday night, authorities said. Two of the wounded are said to be in critical condition.

There is no information yet about the perpetrator’s possible motive, but the prosecutor does not believe it was a terrorist act.

Criminal investigators are investigating a possible connection to drug trafficking, the prosecutor adds.

The Grenoble Mayor Eric Piolle said on the messaging service X that he strongly condemns the violent act.
