Moon Da-hye walked out of the Seoul West District Court on the 20th

It is reported that Moon Da-hye was accused of hitting a taxi while trying to change lanes in the Itaewon district of Seoul in October last year. At that time, her blood alcohol concentration was measured at 0.149%, exceeding the 0.08% threshold for revoking her driver’s license.

At her first trial at Seoul’s Western District Court, prosecutors requested a prison sentence on the grounds that she was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident and had illegally run the homestay business for five years, earning a total profit of 136 million won ($93,000).

Wen Duohui said at the hearing: “I admit all my faults and am deeply reflecting on them. I swear I will never make the same mistake again and ask (the court) for leniency.”

She will need to wait 20 days to see the judge again.
