A few days ago, we talked about Charlotte Casiraghi at the Chanel show, and today we’re focusing on Caroline of Monaco. The princess is ahead of the spring trends with flattering trousers paired with a tweed jacket. Her style certainly never disappoints.

“It’s as if I was born wearing Chanel,” explained Charlotte Casiraghi when the French house named her an ambassador. And indeed, Chanel is a brand closely linked to the Grimaldi family. When Carolina was pregnant, she often wore looks from the house , with which she has maintained a stylistic love affair for decades.
This time, Carolina opted for Chanel’s most iconic piece, a tweed jacket that combines several shades. It features French sleeves and jewel buttons. A timeless classic, reworked each year in new versions while maintaining its essence. This particular design is from the brand’s Fall/Winter 2012 Haute Couture collection.
On Paris street style, there have been two favorite ways to style a tweed jacket: jeans or a matching skirt, but Caroline of Monaco has deviated from both. She chose to wear palazzo pants in powder pink , the trendiest color of the season . Her Chanel bag is also pink. The result? A very elegant and flattering look.

To give your basics a fresh twist, a surefire style trick is to turn to color. This season, soft and delicate tones reign supreme. So we suggest one of your spring investments be a pair of pastel pink pants . Carolina wasn’t the only one to succumb to them. We saw them at the Chloé show, which offered a very seventies flared version that Sienna Miller has already debuted. Queen Letizia is also a fan of pink, which she prefers to wear in a suit jacket.
