And not just in fashion! These three beauty rules will instantly give us a luxurious upgrade.

We’ve known for a long time that Princess Charlene of Monaco is a true fashion inspiration. But we can also learn a thing or two from her when it comes to beauty, because the mother of twins always looks impeccably groomed at every event. We want that too! How does she get so much volume in her fine hair, and how does she maintain her glow even between the racetrack and Formula 1 engines? We’ve taken a close look at the Monegasque princess’s beauty routine and identified three key rules that Charlene never seems to break, ensuring that the blonde beauty represents the princely family in a manner befitting her status.

From makeup to hair care tips: These are the lessons we can learn from Charlene.

Charlene’s makeup looks are natural, but by no means boring. The Princess favors classic elegance and remains loyal to her favorite products. If Albert’s wife ever wants to try something new, it’s more likely to be a different hairstyle than a change in her makeup. Sure, Charlene has changed her style before (remember her brunette hair in 2023?), but in principle, the South African native stays true to herself. Just like these three rules that she seems to have consistently followed in recent months.

“Polly Pocket” volume ensures freshness

Princess Charlene of Monaco has fine hair. Didn’t know that? No wonder, because if there’s one thing Charlene has made her mark on during her years at the Princely House of Monaco, it’s voluminous looks. Whether with a medium-length pixie cut or, more recently, a bob – the beauty icon relies on two tricks to create fullness where there isn’t necessarily any. At the Midsummer Night celebrations in Monaco, the 48-year-old styled the ends of her bob into a playful flick and blow-dried the fine strands on both sides outwards. This adds movement to the hair and makes it appear fuller. Another trick: a side parting. Unlike a straight parting down the middle, it looks more natural and is particularly flattering for round or square faces. The angled shape draws attention to the eyes and simultaneously conceals the first signs of forehead wrinkles or fine lines.

Focus on the brows

Charlene’s fair skin tone, combined with her light hair, can easily appear washed out, making the Monegasque queen look pale despite the bright Côte d’Azur sun in her homeland. However, thanks to clever eyebrow styling, this doesn’t happen! Since 2025, the mother of two has been radiating a vibrant freshness, to which her eyebrows contribute significantly. The blonde now dyes them more distinctly and slightly darker than her hair color, creating a contouring effect on her face. The lower contrast between her hair, complexion, and eyes allows the darker shade to frame her features.

Decisive shine

Princess Charlene used to wear almost exclusively matte lipstick – but those days are over. And for good reason. The former professional athlete has swapped her super-opaque lipstick, which can sometimes accentuate wrinkles and make the lips appear flat, for a glossy, lightly tinted formula. This not only gives her lips a fuller, more kissable look, but also undoubtedly makes them feel more comfortable. The result is a modern and vibrant look. We’ve also noticed a color shift in Charlene’s makeup wardrobe: she’s moved from ultra-cool pink to a rose shade with a slightly peachy undertone, creating a much warmer look.
