The House of Dior continues its journey through Italy alongside Belmond, choosing one of Sicily’s most iconic addresses to inaugurate a new high-end wellness experience. From June 22, 2026, Dior Spa Grand Hotel Timeo will open within the historic Taormina hotel overlooking the bay and Mount Etna, a landmark of the Italian Grand Tour and a retreat cherished by aristocrats, artists and writers since 1873.
The new space is conceived as a haven of calm immersed in the gardens of the Timeo, where Baroque heritage, Mediterranean atmosphere and Dior’s aesthetic codes come together. Natural materials such as stone, onyx and pale woods interact with the hotel’s Sicilian mosaic floors, creating an intimate and contemporary setting designed to welcome guests into a deeply restorative journey.
Alongside the spa, a Dior boutique will offer a selection of the Maison’s collections, summer couture pieces and the new Dior Haute Wellness line, created to extend wellness routines at home through three pillars: slow movement, mindfulness and sleep.
At the heart of the experience are four treatment cabins — Diorazur, Diorama, Rosa Dei Venti and Isola Bella Suite — designed as private and enveloping spaces. Here, Dior’s Haute Wellness philosophy takes shape through tailor-made rituals, expert gestures and advanced technologies, with a selection of face and body treatments created to promote balance, relaxation and vitality.
Among the most distinctive proposals is the signature treatment Talisman of Vitality, designed exclusively for Grand Hotel Timeo and inspired by lithotherapy and Ayurveda. The ritual draws on the energy of Sicilian semi-precious stones, transforming the treatment into a sensory and deeply regenerating experience.
After their treatments, guests can relax in the spa lounge with detox drinks, electrolyte-infused waters and healthy snacks inspired by Italian gastronomy, created with the hotel’s Executive Chef, Roberto Toro.
