For Elie Saab, whose name has long been synonymous with red-carpet glamour and refined interiors, the move feels like a natural progression. Over the past decade, the brand has expanded beyond fashion into residences, hospitality and design. Aviation, it seems, was simply the next frontier.
Unveiled to limited media representatives, what stood out immediately watching a simulation of the interior of the aircraft was not excess, but restraint. Rather than relying on overt displays of luxury, the cabin embraces a quieter language – one built on proportion, texture, craftsmanship and light. Warm neutral tones, supple leather finishes, and clean architectural lines create an atmosphere that feels remarkably residential, echoing the elegance found across Elie Saab’s growing portfolio of interiors around the world.

At the heart of the cabin sits an expansive lounge area designed less as a place to sit and more as a place to live. Flooded with natural light, the space invites conversation, relaxation and a slower rhythm rarely associated with air travel. It is an environment conceived for the modern luxury traveler – someone who increasingly values comfort and experience over spectacle.

For Elie Saab Jr., the project was never simply about designing an aircraft interior. Instead, it was about translating the house’s vision of luxury into a new environment. “With Bombardier, we approached this collaboration with a haute couture mindset, elevating every material and detail into a carefully curated expression of luxury, precision and design excellence,” he says. The cabin reflects a broader ambition that has shaped Elie Saab’s evolution in recent years – one that extends beyond fashion into the spaces its clients inhabit. “This project reflects our desire to accompany our clients in their daily lives wherever they are, extending the Elie Saab universe into every moment of their journey.”

That philosophy sits at the heart of the collaboration. “From the outset, this collaboration was about more than designing a cabin. It was about redefining how our customers experience flight,” says Éric Martel, President and Chief Executive Officer of Bombardier to Vogue Arabia. “Together with Elie Saab, we’ve brought the language of haute couture into aviation, creating an environment that feels both deeply personal and seamless, like a true extension of the home.”

For Martel, the partnership represents a natural evolution of Bombardier’s flagship aircraft. “The Global 8000 is our most advanced aircraft, defined by its unmatched range, speed and performance, and with Elie Saab, we’ve taken that experience even further. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered to reflect a sense of harmony, refinement and intention.”

More than a fashion signature in the skies, the collaboration transforms the aircraft into an extension of the Elie Saab lifestyle. Behind the serene interiors lies a highly technical process, balancing couture-inspired design with the rigorous demands of aviation. The result is not simply a private jet cabin, but a new vision of lifestyle aviation – one that brings Elie Saab’s world of elegance and effortless living to 50,000 feet.
