Lila Moss Borrowed The Iconic Leopard Print Coat From Mom Kate

It was a matter of time. Those with a good memory and fashion knowledge will remember that Kate often wore it in the 2000s. Almost 20 years later, her daughter gave a modern interpretation to the leopard print style, wearing it over a sheer black lace shirt and leather mini shorts, with a pair of sheer socks and flip-up leather boots.

This piece was clearly a favorite of Kate, who wore it on many occasions throughout the 2000s. And if there weren’t enough signs of the revival of animal print on the catwalks in recent seasons, the return of this style by Generation Z – and Lila Moss, almost 20 years later is a sure sign that the love for leopard print still lives on.

This is not the first time that mother and daughter have inspired each other when it comes to fashion. Last month, Lila wore a white satin lapel top and jacket with skinny jeans and pointed heels, a combination that was very reminiscent of her mother’s favorite relaxed style. Lila was present during Fashion Month as she continues to forge her own path in the industry. At the end of February, she walked in the Burberry Fall/Winter 2025 show in London, and a few days earlier she supported her mother at a party to celebrate the Donna Karan New York Spring 2025 campaign, in which Kate was involved.
