Spain’s Euro List: Nacho and Fermin Present And PSG’s Marco Asensio Excluded

De La Fuente chose to include Aymeric Laporte, the Saudi Al-Nasr defender, and defender Nacho, who recently revived his career with Real Madrid. Luis de la Fuente, coach of the Spain national team, revealed his initial list of 29 players, which will later be reduced to 26, in order to participate in the European Championship “Euro 2024”.

The list saw the exclusion of Isco, who excelled with Real Betis, as he suffered an injury that prevented him from finishing the season perfectly.
 
Isco was without a team during the second half of the 2022-2023 season after leaving Sevilla, as his transfer deal to Union Berlin collapsed in January last year, but the 32-year-old former Real Madrid player regained his brilliance with Betis, and became one of the most influential players, without… This culminates in his return to his country’s national team.

After Isco, Asensio is off the list

The name of Paris Saint-Germain winger Marco Asensio was also absent from De La Fuente’s list for poor competition and game play, while Real Madrid striker Joselu was included in the “La Roja” national team’s list.

Barcelona player Fermin Lopez, 21 years old, joined the Spanish squad for the first time, hours after his brilliance at the end of the Spanish League, as did striker Ayoze Perez, who plays for Real Betis and is 30 years old.
