The 29-year-old actress, who has yet to confirm whether she and her fiancé, also 29, have secretly tied the knot, appeared at the premiere in the same white dress she wore to the 2015 Academy Awards. Now she has explained the reasoning behind her outfit choice. Speaking to Variety, she said: “I was discussing with [stylist Law Roach] how I could dress thematically for this film, and I remembered the saying: ‘Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue.’ So this is my ‘something old’! I thought I’d bring it out again and give it a new life. This dress means a lot to me.”
Over the past few months, there has been much speculation about their relationship and a possible wedding, but Zendaya has avoided making any definitive statements. When asked if she had seen the headlines, she joked, “Really? I haven’t seen any of them.” The ‘Euphoria’ actress got engaged to her ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ co-star in late 2024 after several years of dating. Earlier this month, her stylist, Law Roach, even claimed the wedding had already taken place. He told ‘Access Hollywood’, “The wedding has already happened. You guys missed it.” When pressed, he confirmed, “That’s absolutely true!”
Tom Holland had previously emphasized that the couple deliberately keeps their relationship private: “Our relationship is something we want to protect very much and keep as sacred as possible. We don’t believe we owe anything to anyone – this is our thing and has nothing to do with our careers.” Zendaya expressed a similar sentiment in an interview with ‘GQ’, describing their relationship as “sacred”: “When you truly love someone, there are moments you want to keep to yourself. Love is something sacred and special – something you want to experience between two people.”
