Who better than Laetitia Casta to embody the French woman? As talented as she is sublime, the star of the 7th art speaks today, in all spontaneity, about her vision of femininity.

Vogue France supports its colleagues at Vogue Ukraine in the face of the horrible attacks their country is suffering. We also share the sadness of Vogue Russia where many in the team have family and friends in Ukraine and some of whom are Ukrainian themselves. The Vogue community is united, and the blue white red of our issue unites with the blue and yellow of the Ukrainian flag, symbol of a country that is defending its freedom at this very moment.

Laetitia Casta on the cover of Vogue France

“The French woman: who better than Laetitia Casta to embody her? What am I saying, embody… Laetitia IS the French woman! At the top of fashion and blue white red cinema for over twenty years, she is sexy and chic at the same time, charming and discreet, fire and ice, myth and reality. As Arthur Dreyfus points out in the confidential interview she gives us on page 170, “Casta belongs to our emotional landscape: she is a family friend, whose smile speaks more than a thousand pages”. Here, under the lens of Carlijn Jacobs and dressed by Imruh Asha , two star contributors to Vogue France, she is freedom, movement, shapes, character and power. And reveals a new side of herself, a spontaneity, humor and frankness that touch us here at Vogue France. She even desacralizes femininity. As she says so well, “women can be just as terrible as men. Murderous. Dangerous. They are not just innocent and fragile victims. When we accept women in their entirety, we will have taken a step. Let’s get away from the virgin and the whore, because that’s starting to date!”. We are taking this step together, here, today without filter thanks to you Laetitia. Enjoy reading!”

Brie Larson Goes For Classic Glamour in Green

Larson knows a thing or two about elegant glamour. The actress reverted to the classics for last night’s Art Deco-themed Giorgio Armani show in New York, breaking out a Wicked green confection that’s power was all in the details. Brie’s bottom half was also trimmed with festive details, mainly abstract floral embroidery that wrapped around the perimeter of her dress.
