In June, KidSuper’s Colm Dillane linked with UK streetwear titan Trapstar for a one-off football game in Paris, just a few days ahead of his Spring/Summer 2025 show. Smack dab in the middle of Paris Fashion Week, Dillane stepped onto the pitch with the likes of Clavish, Alex Iwobi and Jack Nichols, all of whom wore custom jerseys designed by KidSuper and Trapstar. Now, those kits are going to be available to the public.
Elsewhere, KidSuper Studios branding appears on the bottom of the silhouette, while Trapstar lettering takes over the shoulders.
“[Colm and I] connected through Bloody Osiris earlier this year when I attended the KidSuper show in January in Paris, and we instantly clicked,” Lee Trapstar said. “Our shared love for soccer/football brought us together. Colm has a refreshing energy and an incredible work ethic. I was impressed that, in the midst of preparing for his own fashion week show in June, he still made time to jump into the game.”
“It’s wild how two brands can come together over a shared love for soccer,” Dillane added. “As a U.S. brand, people don’t usually expect me to be this into the game. But who knows? Maybe we’ll turn this into an annual thing.”
Mark your calendars: KidSuper’s Fall/Winter 2024 collection is dropping this Friday. The jersey collection will become available to shop online. Take a look at the designs in the gallery above.
Designer Colm Dillane first introduced this season’s “String Theory” collection in Paris earlier this year, with a buzzy runway show that included a famous Ronaldinho appearance, viral unraveling knitwear pieces and a bounty of painterly ensembles flaunting the label’s signature face motifs.
Meeting the world this week, the collection is packed with Dillane’s classic statement-makers, like his abstract Kissing Puffers, “KidSuper Football Club” kits and print-drenched outerwear.
Down the line, kaleidoscopic blazers and dress trousers are covered in Dillane’s artworks; denim separates are printed all over with the designer’s “Dancing Ladies;” trenches are constructed with ample, multi-toned layers, and fur coats are so grand they can only be pulled off by true superstars. Amid the audacity and the artistry, it’s KidSuper at its finest.
KidSuper’s full Fall/Winter 2024 collection will become available to shop online and in the brand’s Brooklyn flagship (located at 158 Roebling Street) this Friday, August 30 at 11 a.m. ET. A few SKUs, including those dramatic trench coats and illustrative denim pieces, are already available to shop on the site. Explore the line in the gallery above.
