After finishing her stint of weekend shows in Caesars Palace, Las Vegas, the singer is performing a number of gigs for her European fans in a purpose-built arena inside Munich Messe, marking her first live shows in mainland Europe in eight years.
The Weekends with Adele residency came off the back of the release of her album 30, which marked the British star’s first album in six years.
The residency was originally scheduled to take place between January – April 2022 but those shows were cancelled at the 11th hour by a teary Adele.
In a clip posted to social media, she admitted that COVID-19 had impacted preparations for the shows and she had made the difficult decision to reschedule the whole series.
The singer, who is mum to son Angelo, 12, has also spoken publicly about wanting to have more children with her new husband, American sports agent Rich Paul.
Paul has three children and during one of her Las Vegas concerts, Adele gave a shout out to his daughter Reonna.
“It is my stepdaughter’s graduation this weekend. Her name is Reonna,” the singer told the audience.
“So I love you, darling. Congratulations. She’s the first family member who has graduated college, how amazing is that? It’s a f—ing vibe!”
She added: “So they’re all in Atlanta, and they’re celebrating her. And obviously I’m here with you – wouldn’t be anywhere else – but I love you, baby. I love you!”
The couple, who began dating in 2021, sparked engagement rumours in early 2022 and confirmed the pair had wed in November 2023.
Adele was previously married to British charity entrepreneur Simon Konecki but the pair split in 2018, after seven years together
