For their first match of Euro 2025 in Germany, the French team could count on the support of an ecstatic fan: Dylan Deschamps. The son of French national team coach Didier Deschamps couldn’t contain his joy when Les Bleus won 1-0 against Austria.
Just as passionate about football as his father, the 28-year-old traveled to Düsseldorf to support the French coach at the start of Euro 2025, accompanied by his charming fiancée, Mathilde Cappelaere . The two were photographed celebrating the victory with hugs and kisses. Pretzels in hand, the couple shared in the joys and sorrows of Les Bleus.
A Wedding Planned
Together for seven years, Dylan Deschamps and Mathilde Cappelaere got engaged at the beginning of May 2025. The young woman announced the news to her 70,000 Instagram followers: “After seven years of love, it’s official. Here’s a new chapter in our lives,” she wrote. In another post, she recalled their meeting at her sister’s wedding, before expressing her excitement about their own upcoming nuptials: “Next year, it’ll be our turn!”
