Great success of domestic production

With the joint engagement of Telekom TDC Holding A/S and producer Jorge Jimenez Neubauer Torres, the series “Kidnapping” opens the door to a new era of Danish cinematography by bringing one of the biggest movie stars of Netflix films – Swede Mikael Persbrandt. Viewers will have the opportunity to watch this famous actor, who gained world fame by acting in series such as “The Hobbit”, “Sex education”, “Bek” and many others, in one of the main male roles in the Serbian series, reviving the true event on the small screen.

“It was a great honor for me to be part of the crew filming this fascinating story.” All the team members are extremely professional, and their experience allowed me to explore the unusual and terrifying character I am portraying. I’m looking forward to the premiere of the series and can’t wait to meet its audience,” said Persbrandt.

NEW HOUSE

In preparation for the role of the tech mogul Marcus, Persbrandt spent 20 days isolated in Denmark, without internet or mobile phone, devotedly studying the character at the center of the drama about the kidnapping of a child from Sweden.

The series “Kidnapping” was filmed for two months in Stockholm and Copenhagen, and in addition to Persbrandt, many Danish actors act in the series, while domestic actors in others.

The first episode of “Kidnapping” will premiered, where viewers will be able to follow the further development of the true story every weekend at 9 p.m.
