Amal Clooney Offers A Rare Glimpse of Her Winter Style

Amal dressed for a chilly night in the quintessential winter staple: a Max Mara coat. She wore a calf-length light gray coat with rounded lapels, which she layered over a similarly colored knit mock neck minidress. To keep her legs warm, Amal added a pair of low-denier black tights and a pair of thigh-high suede pointy-toe stiletto boots.

While the neutral palette and knits are a far cry from Amal’s summer wardrobe filled with bright prints and wedge heels, some aspects of her style are year-round. Her love of oversized sunglasses remains consistent, as does her fondness for Stella McCartney. Over the summer, she wore a bohemian, multi-patterned minidress from McCartney’s resort 2015 collection. Last night, meanwhile, Amal carried the British designer’s Ryder bag—a black double-handle faux-leather purse with a distinctive bean shaped top.

While she may be dressing for much colder temperatures than a summer in Lake Como, some things never change for Amal Clooney.
