Everywhere you look, hair accessories — especially bows — have been making a big comeback. Stars like Rachel Brosnahan, Elle Fanning, and Sydney Sweeney have incorporated the trend into their red carpet ensembles, and the latest celeb to bring the all-tied-up fad to life is Jennifer Lopez at Couture Fashion Week.
On Thursday, the multi-hyphenate attended the Valentino Haute Couture Spring-Summer 2024 show in a bowified and bedazzled outfit that included a black bodycon gown with sparkly sleeve cutouts and bow accents. For a bit of extra drip, J.Lo added a giant diamond statement choker, matching earrings, and a smattering of silver rings. Even J.Lo’s black handbag had glittery bow details.
Of course, Lopez’s hair, which was pulled into a half-up ponytail and flipped out on the ends, was accented with a black velvet ribbon. In terms of glam, Lopez opted for a charcoal-colored smoky eye, bronzed contour, and a beige lip.
Earlier in the day, Lopez committed to the trend yet again at the Elie Saab Haute Couture spring-summer 2024 show by matching her green velvet hair bow to her plunging olive gown and an ethereal floral cape. This time, the accessory swept back one side of her hair while the rest was styled in a deep part and loose curls.
Before diving into the whimsical aesthetic, Lopez wore an edgier OOTD to the Schiaparelli show that included black leggings, a massive belt, and a jacket made of real roses. She ditched the hair accessories altogether and styled her locks in a sleek, wet-looking bob.
