Hillary Clinton revolutionized the center of Seville this Saturday. The former candidate for the presidency of the United States walked like another tourist through the streets of the city and ate at one of the city’s trendy restaurants, Río Grande. Bill Clinton’s wife walked in front of the Torre del Oro and visited the Real Alcázar of Seville, two of the most emblematic places in the city. On the other hand, she attended the private party organized by Eugenia Martínez de Irujo with her husband, Narcís Rebollo, at the Dueñas Palace, where a large number of recognized faces in our country gathered.

Hillary’s first stop in our country was Madrid, where on Friday she had lunch with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, José Manuel Albares. Later, the American traveled to Seville. Accompanied by the United States ambassador to Spain, Julissa Reynoso, the former first lady landed in the Andalusian capital, where she was able to enjoy the culture and gastronomy of the city. Hillary stayed in a downtown hotel and around one in the afternoon she arrived at the Río Grande restaurant on foot, surrounded by strong security measures.

Wearing an original coat, the interior of which had a floral print, and a turquoise scarf, the woman was most smiling and friendly to those present, whom she did not hesitate to shake hands with. “I’m delighted to be here,” she told the press. Hillary had lunch with three other people in a booth overlooking the Gold Tower. The American ate fish and artichokes, which are some of the most recognized dishes of this place.

After eating, he visited the cathedral of Seville and the Reales Alcázares. The visit lasted until almost five in the afternoon, at which time she retired to the hotel to rest. At night, she attended the party that was hosted by Eugenia Martínez de Irujo and her husband, Narcís Rebollo. The party brought together great well-known faces from the national scene. David Bisbal, Los del Río, Sandra Segimón, Farruquito, Lorenzo Caprile, José María Manzanares, Pablo López, Fernando Martínez de Irujo and José Mercé were some of those invited by the Duchess of Montoro.

As it could not be otherwise, there were a large number of performances. Bill Clinton’s wife had the pleasure of listening to artists of the caliber of Pablo López and Vanessa Martín, who performed Caminante no hay camino . On the other hand, Bisbal thrilled us with Se nos roto el amor or Qué saber Nadie and Los del Río sang their popular song Sevilla has a special color and, how could it be otherwise, the world-renowned Macarena .

After these performances, the guests enjoyed a flamenco show in the famous patio of the palace. According to several media outlets, Hillary Clinton gave her all and made the most of Sevillian culture. This party was a pending account that the daughter of the Duchess of Alba already promised the former Secretary of State of the United States on her previous trip to Madrid last year, when they both met. Without a doubt, Eugenia was a luxury host.
