Lovers of aesthetics and the creative world will certainly be attracted by Marc by Sofia, a documentary film about designer Marc Jacobs directed by Sofia Coppola, while the end of the month brings The Drama , a new A24 drama starring Zendaya and Robert Pattinson. There is also the documentary series The Man Will Burn , which explores the phenomenon of Burning Man and its journey from a small artistic gathering to one of the most recognizable cultural events of today.

The Man Will Burn

The July offer opens with the HBO Original documentary series The Man Will Burn , which provides a detailed look at the history and transformation of the Burning Man festival. The series traces its development from 1986, when it was born in the counterculture scene of San Francisco, to its current form — a large annual gathering of tens of thousands of people in the Nevada desert.

Through four episodes, the series explores how a community that has grown around the ideas of art, freedom and personal expression has managed to adapt to growing popularity, but also to internal challenges.

Directed by Jehane Noujaim and Vikram Gandhi , while executive producers include Nina Fialkow, David Fialkow, Nushin Sabet, Farhad Mohit, Jehane Noujaim, Karim Amer and Vikram Gandhi.

For fans of fashion and lifestyle culture, The Man Will Burn is also interesting because of the visual identity of Burning Man — a world where costume, art and individual style become part of personal expression.

Premiere: July 9th

The Long Walk

The film adaptation of Stephen King’s novel The Long Walk , directed by Francis Lawrence, is coming to HBO Max. The story follows a group of young competitors who take part in an extreme endurance challenge, where the limits of physical and mental strength become a matter of survival.

The film stars Cooper Hoffman, David Jonsson, Garrett Wareing, Tut Nyuot, Charlie Plummer, Ben Wang, Roman Griffin Davis, Jordan Gonzalez, Joshua Odjick, Josh Hamilton, Judy Greer and Mark Hamill .

The script was written by JT Mollner, while the producers are Roy Lee, Steven Schneider, Francis Lawrence and Cameron MacConomy .

Although it belongs to the genre of thriller and dystopia, the film also attracts attention because of the young cast that represents the new generation of Hollywood talent.

Premiere: July 10th

Marc by Sofia

One of the most anticipated premieres of the month comes from the production of A24. Marc by Sofia presents an intimate portrait of fashion designer Marc Jacobs, one of the most influential authors of contemporary fashion.

The film is directed by Sofia Coppola, a director known for her distinctive visual style and stories that explore identity, creativity and the world of privilege. Through her perspective, the film explores the personality of the artist behind a big fashion name and the creative process behind a global fashion empire.

In addition to directing, Sofia Coppola also serves as producer, along with Jane Cha Cutler, RJ Cutler, Elise Pearlstein and Trevor Smith. Executive producers are Roman Coppola and Youree Henley .

Marc by Sofia will be especially interesting to an audience that sees fashion as part of culture and art — as a story about identity, aesthetics and the times we live in.Marc by Sofia

Stuart Fails to Save the Universe

Fans of The Big Bang Theory series will get a new dose of familiar humor through the Stuart Fails to Save the Universe series.

The plot follows Stuart Bloom, a comic book store owner, who after an unfortunate event causes the collapse of the multiverse when he breaks a device created by Sheldon and Leonard.

Kevin Sussman reprises his role as Stuart Bloom and is joined by Lauren Lapkus as Denise, Brian Posehn as Bert and John Ross Bowie as Barry Kripke.

The series was created, written and produced by Chuck Lorre, Zak Penn and Bill Prady, while Kyle Newacheck is executive producing and directing multiple episodes.

The Drama

The end of July is reserved for another A24 title — The Drama, a film that brings together Zendaya and Robert Pattinson in the main roles.

The story follows an engaged couple whose week before their wedding is disrupted by an unexpected event, calling into question their plans and the image they have of each other.

The film was written and directed by Kristoffer Borgli , and in addition to Zendaya and Robert Pattinson, it stars Alana Haim, Mamoudou Athie and Hailey Benton Gates. Producers are Lars Knudsen, Ari Aster and Tyler Campellone.

In addition to the story itself, the film attracts attention because of its cast — Zendaya has become one of the biggest fashion and film icons of her generation in recent years, while A24 production continues to build a recognizable aesthetic that often pushes the boundaries of contemporary cinema.
