Impervious to the seasons, jeans are one of the wardrobe essentials that never leave us. Each season, they are entitled to different variations to perfect their status as a must-have. It’s time to take stock and discover the star denim trends for spring 2025.
Bootcut jeans
The iconic bootcut jeans of the 2000s are making a comeback in our wardrobes. Seen on several Spring/Summer 2025 runways, including Sportmax , they feature a silhouette that’s tight at the knees and gradually flares out. Their strong point? They lengthen your legs!
Slim jeans
As controversial as the skinny fit, the slim fit is making a comeback this spring. Less form-fitting, it’s been revisited and updated by brands like Coach, which hasn’t hesitated to play up the all-denim look.
The low waist
Imagine yourself on a red carpet at the dawn of the 2000s, like Christina Aguilera or Paris Hilton … Back then, It-girls swore by low-rise jeans, worn very, very low, to the point of revealing the strings of their G-string. In 2025, they’ve had a makeover and become a sure bet, all while remaining elegant.
The denim skirt
It’s a trend that’s sure to please all French women this season… The denim skirt is to spring what its leather version is to winter. This year, we’re wearing it mid-length and with 60s accents.
The barrel jean
This is probably the most divisive denim trend. Barrel jeans, as the name suggests, replicate the curves of a barrel’s rounded cylinder. A statement style already adopted by Tina Kunakey, and reinterpreted on the catwalk of the Acne Studios Spring/Summer 2025 fashion show.
The lace-up jeans
Rather than succumbing to the trend of denim paved with all sorts of crystals, we’re opting for a more understated variation. A small (or several) lace(s) and you’re done!
