16-Year-Old Drove Lamborghini Aventador SV To Get Back Home
You wouldn’t find many students returning home from school in a car, let alone driving one themselves.
But, this case stood out — and how.
A fellow driver on the roads of Melbourne spotted this Lamborghini Aventador, and he made sure to click a picture.
The motorist sent it to Melbourne Car Spotters, a Facebook page, which further posted the image.
The learner sticker stuck on the rear of the supercar probably helped him determine that a teenager was driving.
You don’t get to see a Lamborghini with that sticker every day, no matter where you’re from.
Moreover, despite what some may think, the teenager was reportedly ‘driving sensibly’ at the time.
This reminds us of this California-based 15-year-old with a multi-million dollar supercar collection.
Who Can Drive A Supercar In Australia?
Naturally, you may wonder if youngsters with a learner’s license can even drive a supercar with such a large engine and high performance.
They most certainly can, and all learner drivers throughout Australia are eligible to drive anything that resembles a car — strictly under the supervision of a fully licensed adult driver.
This was a year ago, so the teenager is only another year away from getting the full probationary license anyway.
However, as peculiar as this case was, it wasn’t the end of it.
You see, the teenager wasn’t driving just any Lamborghini Aventador.
It was an Aventador LP 750-F SV, which was a limited edition variant that came out in 2015.
The SV’s 6.5-liter V12 — which was one of the automaker’s most iconic engines ever — sent out 740HP.
However, the Aventador is now retired, and the automaker’s latest flagship model is the Temerario.
The Aventador SV is a mighty ride to learn to drive on, but we’re sure the teenager had a good time.
