Queen Letizia of Spain has just the thing. In Cádiz, while presiding over the annual meeting of the directors of the Instituto Cervantes centers at the Museos de la Atalaya, the royal kept things professional but breezy—showing up in a sleeveless, airy set that’s perfect for July’s steamy temperatures.

The clean-cut Boss suit, which was a new one for Letizia, began with an elongated, tailored blazer with a slim fit and sleeveless, collarless silhouette. Buttoned over a white top, the piece was crafted from a soft baby-blue crepe fabric, with welt pockets in front.

The queen’s trousers were the perfect match. Tailored from the same baby-blue crepe, the pants were designed with an elastic waistband for added comfort and a relaxed, wide-leg shape for maximum breathability. Didn’t I say it was perfect for summer?

As for the rest of her look, Letizia paired her new set with a handful of repeat wears—namely her Furla Metropolis shoulder bag in white leather (which she carried in her hand instead) and her color-matched patent-leather Mary Janes from Sézane. The latter, which peeked out from underneath her trousers, were dreamed up with two belt strap closures, grounded with a little block heel, and finished with a bit of lacquered shine.

The queen curled her brown hair for the occasion, and for jewelry, she went for gold, selecting her PDPAOLA teardrop earrings, a chunky chain necklace from Barbara Goenaga, and a stack of sculptural rings.
