A new scandal has rocked Miss Universe, Fátima Bosch. Her Venezuelan stylist, Giovanni Laguna, was arrested in Cannes after assaulting Miss Venezuela Global. The incident came to light after a video surfaced showing the altercation between Laguna and Andrea del Val, Miss Venezuela Global 2025.
The arrest was filmed, Miss Venezuela covered in blood.
Images released by paparazzi photographer Jordi Martin show Giovanni Laguna handcuffed and escorted by French police officers. Laguna was arrested after being physically assaulted by Andrea del Val. The young woman denounced the incident on her social media, where she appeared with a bloodied face.
In this video, Giovanni Laguna and Andrea del Val can be seen in the same room, Miss Venezuela with a bloody face, which leaves little doubt about the assault she suffered.

Giovanni Laguna is a Venezuelan stylist and designer known in the beauty pageant world. He worked as a stylist for Fátima Bosch, Miss Universe, who was already embroiled in numerous scandals between his rigged election and the legal cases involving the co-owner of the contest, Raúl Rocha, wanted by Mexican justice for his links with cartels, money laundering, drug and fuel trafficking.

As we revealed to you in Interviews on May 19th, Raúl Rocha and Fátima Bosch were banned from Cannes they were scheduled to attend an event at the Carlton Hotel, but Prince Albert II of Monaco refused to attend a gala in their presence. Following this humiliation, Miss Universe fled, hastily taking refuge in Paris. Could this sudden escape also be linked to the violence perpetrated by her stylist against Miss Venezuela during the Cannes Film Festival? It’s far from certain.
