Del Rey shocked her fans when news broke that she tied the knot with the Louisiana driver on September 26. The singer had previously broken her silence about their romance in a comment she left on an Instagram fan account.

On @LanaBoards, she wrote: “Unfortunately, a local couple from Houma won’t stop flying drones at our windows every morning and watching us with a spotter.”
The performer, born Elizabeth Grant, continued: “But if Sara Michelle Champagne and Kruesch (a famous New Orleans paparazzi) would stop switching vehicles following the family — and stop following us to remote parts of the country and do Photoshop my wedding ring into a pearl – I know we’d feel a lot safer.” Finally, he added: “With all that being said, Jeremy is the one and only. And amazing. And we are very happy.”
Del Rey and Dufrene tied the knot in an intimate waterside ceremony in Des Allemands, Louisiana, just a month after going public with their romance and five years after they first met. After the ceremony, Jeremy’s ex-fiancée revealed that she was surprised by his marriage to Lana. She pointed out that she found out about the wedding when she was shown photos the next morning.
