Pulling from the archives of Mugler, her corseted look laced up her famous figure with a bridal flair. Kardashian slipped into a white corset bodice with a dramatic plunging neckline, pairing the garment with white microshorts, a sultry white robe coat, and nude PVC heels—just as it debuted on the runway for Mugler’s spring 1998 couture collection.
The Skims mogul leaned into the retro feel of her ensemble with her glam, emulating the coiffed hair of old Hollywood starlets with a deep side part and bouncy curls. Meanwhile, her makeup doubled down on the theme with a shimmery gold eyeshadow, sculpted brows, and a nude lipstick.
To complete her glamorous look, Kardashian dripped in diamonds from head-to-toe. She wore a handful of diamond rings as well as a pair of diamond drop earrings, and extended the sparkling jewelry below, where she wrapped several diamond bracelets around one of her ankles. A statement diamond necklace brought her jewelry full circle.
Though she certainly shined the brightest, Kim wasn’t the only member of her family to attend the gala. Her younger sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner also made appearances, showing off their own designer looks in slinky black gowns. Kendall, for her part, wore a sculptural Schiaparelli dress while Kylie opted for a throwback Mugler ensemble, pulling from the same iconic ‘90s collection as Kardashian—proving that great minds think alike, but only the greatest dress like it, too.
