Kate Middleton accompanied Prince William to the launch of a new suicide prevention tool, an event that marked their first public appearance together since Meghan Markle and Prince Harry arrived in the UK.
Kate Middleton has made a new public engagement. In recent days, she and Prince William went to Hill Dickinson Stadium in Liverpool to attend an event to launch new suicide prevention tools promoted by the Royal Foundation. The visit had not been announced in the official British Royal agenda, a detail that made the appearance even more heartfelt.
For the occasion, Kate once again demonstrated her proverbial ability to give new life to items in her wardrobe , re-proposing a sky blue suit with a “wasp-waisted” effect, already worn last May during the official trip to Italy.
The outfit, designed by Edeline Lee , is made up of a tailored blazer with a gathered detail on the back that recalls the peplum line, capable of enhancing the waist, and fluid high-waisted trousers, made in the same fabric and in the same shade.
Under the jacket, the princess chose a white high-necked top, completing the look with her trademark nude pumps. As an accessory, Kate Middleton opted for a gold chain necklace that she had recently worn on her eldest son’s first day of school.
With the exception of the snaps with Prince George on his first day at Eton College, this was the first joint public appearance of the Prince and Princess of Wales since the return of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to the UK, a circumstance which inevitably increased the media attention.
The appearance comes just hours after Prince William attended King Harald‘s funeral in Oslo , which Kate Middleton did not attend. According to several British media, the princess has chosen to remain in the UK to accompany her younger children, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis , on their first day of school at Lambrook School , which took place the previous day.
