The actress hosted a fan event for her debut album, “Glorious,” at the Fifth Avenue Barnes & Noble store in Midtown Manhattan.
Many listeners were struck by the singer’s spectacular black and white polka-dot outfit. Kate complemented the dress with a black belt and brown ankle boots, which were chosen for her by stylist Sophie Lopez. Kate combed her recently cut bangs back, making a hairstyle with a parting in the middle.
Kate’s fans in New York lined up outside the bookstore, waiting to meet the star at 4 p.m. to take photos and get their CDs and vinyl records autographed. The fan meet-and-greet was a great way to promote Hudson’s concert, scheduled for Friday, July 12, at Webster Hall in the East Village.
“I’m so happy just to be singing!” Hudson gushed about the upcoming show. “I can’t wait to see you there. And honestly, I just wanted to share that making this album for you has been one of the greatest joys of my life. I’m so grateful to you guys for coming out and just happy to feel the support and the love.
In addition to her music career, the actress will executive produce and star as ambitious LA Waves club owner Isla Gordon in Mindy Kaling’s 10-part basketball comedy Running Point, which will premiere next year on Netflix. Kate, who is the daughter of Oscar winner Goldie Hawn, is a mother of three: 20-year-old son Ryder with Chris Robinson, 12-year-old son Bingham with ex-fiancé Matt Bellamy, and 5-year-old daughter Rani with current fiancé Danny Fujikawa. The actress recently returned from a family vacation in Europe.

The actress is spent her summer holidays in Europe and is happy to share the highlights of her vacation with her fans.
Kate posted social media showing her vacation with her fiancé Danny Fujikawa and her children. Kate has a 20-year-old son Ryder, 12-year-old Bingham, and 5-year-old Rani. The video is a series of touching vacation moments: swimming in azure water, shopping, walking in the rain, and other fun shots showing how Kate is actively spending her European vacation in Greece and Italy. One of the highlights was a video showing Hudson diving off a dock in a bright purple bikini, and then waving encouragingly from a boat in a beautiful patterned dress, riding along the canals of Venice.

In an interview with People magazine in May this year, Kate spoke about the harmony in her blended family. Hudson gave birth to Ryder with ex-husband Chris Robinson, and Bingham with ex-partner Matt Bellamy. Five-year-old Rani is the first child for Kate and her current fiancé Danny.
