Kaia Gerber Looks More And More Like Cindy Crawford

Kaia Gerber is increasingly following in her mother’s footsteps. Earlier this year, the “Bottoms” star got a glimpse into her mother’s world when she was cast in the new FX series  “The Shards,” based on Bret Easton Ellis’ novel of the same name.

The teenage horror series, written by Ryan Murphy, is set in the eighties, a decade during which Kaia’s mother,  Cindy Crawford, became one of the biggest supermodels in the world.

While Kaia evoked through the series the era in which her mother built her career, it seems that in the latest appearance she decided to pay tribute to her through another segment of her life —  a recognizable supermodel style.

Kaia was spotted on the set of  “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on Wednesday afternoon.  in Los Angeles and looked almost like a copycat Cindy Crawford. For this occasion, she chose a striking little white dress and a voluminous hairdo inspired by the eighties.

Her all-white mini dress was made from a skin-tight, shiny leather-like material, and stylist Emma Jade Morrison paired it with matching open-toe heels.

The dress had thin straps and a plunging, rounded neckline, while visible crisscrossing seams further accentuated it along the material. Kaia completed the look with a black shoulder bag and large, eye-catching sunglasses.

But the real tribute to her mother was her hairstyle.

The hair look was handled by Gregory Russell, who gave Kaija luxuriant, wavy locks with slight volume—a hairstyle that is irresistibly reminiscent of Cindy Crawford’s famous blowout  from when she ruled the catwalks and covers.

Kaia’s casual golden-toned brown waves were swept to one side, just like how Cindy often wore her hair during her supermodel era.

If there is a true example of the term  “strong genes” , then it is definitely the Gerber-Crawford family.
