Jet2.com and Jet2holidays has added more capacity for summer 2024 at Manchester, with extra flights to the Canary Islands, mainland Spain, Bulgaria, Greece and Italy.
The summer peak will now see 14 weekly departures to Lanzarote and 13 to Alicante. Corfu and Heraklion will have 10 flights each, as well as extra services to Kos, Chania, Bourgas, Sardinia and Reus.
Jet2 added 850,000 seats to its Atol, banking on strong demand during 2024. Jet2 will now offer more than 3.8 million seats from Manchester, an increase of almost 100,000 on summer 2023.
The additions mean Jet2.com and Jet2holidays will operate more than 340 weekly flights during peak periods to 58 destinations from Manchester next summer.
Steve Heapy, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays chief executive, said: “We are seeing strong and sustained demand for summer 24 across the board, with flights and holidays proving very popular from Manchester airport.
“As the UK’s largest tour operator, we have reacted quickly to that demand by adding extra capacity to a host of sunshine favourites from the airport.”
