I Would Like To Be Having Rihanna And A$AP Rocky’s Summer

Miley Cyrus didn’t create a whole (masterful) album called Endless Summer Vacation for nothing: The ultimate dream is to shut down shop and take all of August off like the Europeans do – and if I could, I would be spending it exactly like Rihanna and A$AP Rocky.

Hear me out. Earlier this week, the couple went viral when they were spotted tubing in the singer’s native Barbados – the ultimate summertime activity – while looking totally joyful and carefree. Plus, you simply haven’t lived if you haven’t been hurled off an inflatable device while going 30 miles per hour! (I speak from experience: My dad drives a boat like a maniac.) Sign me up.

Post-splash, the stylish stars were spotting hitting the beach – Rihanna in a saucy little Brat-green zebra dress, no less! – and carousing on a luxury yacht. Again, pure summer 2024 goals – and even better if you’re only a guest on the yacht, so you don’t have to pay for it (and the 20-person crew on deck to serve you overpriced champagne). While aboard, both A$AP and Rihanna were spotted whispering to each other in an intimate embrace, because it’s always better to have a romantic fling while you’re living your best life. Duh!

All of this is to say that Rihanna and A$AP have summer living totally figured out. They are living the summer we wish we were having, and the one we deserve. I am there in spirit. But, for now, I guess I will go and clean my apartment.
