For your lunches and dinners, you should not overlook wearing jeans as long as you follow the guidelines of those who know the most about fashion and one of the George V Magazine stylists.
George V Magazine stylist Raquel Mejías gives us the keys to achieving denim looks that will look perfect for look lunches or dinners when you celebrate with friends.
These are the most elegant jeans
For Raquel Mejías there are two types of jeans that she prefers if you want a put-together look despite wearing jeans:
- Flares are characterized by being tighter at the hips and widening from the knee down and with a length that reaches the ankle. “With these characteristics, I like them in dark denim or black,” says the stylist .
- Wide leg jeans, which are straight cut from the waist down , loose and wide. “There are some at Mango with a snake print that I dream of, but you can also find this type of jeans at Citizens against humanity and Massimo Dutti,” Raquel continues.
Combine Jeans With:
For the stylist, there are several options: bardot-neck sweaters – “they are always a safe bet,” she says -, asymmetrical tops – “like some in Kate Moss’s collection for Zara ” – or satin shirts, “a classic that always works.”
Making an incursion into street style during fashion weeks, we look for inspiration and we get it: short jackets, oversized blazers and accessories that lift up any look like strappy sandals.
With the key pieces of the season
Although it may seem like a very simple look, it has everything to be the most fashionable at lunchtime: the brown suede jacket, the wide-leg jeans that are 5 sizes too big, and the animal print shoes.
Oversized jacket, frock coat type and red shoes
Sometimes the simplest is the coolest. We want these flared jeans that look so good with
red ballet flats and these frock coats, navy blue, the most elegant color in a woman’s wardrobe, and chocolate brown, the star color this winter.
Strappy sandals elevate any denim look
Sarah Harris knows how to do wonders with basics. For a meal, all you need to do is add a T-shirt and carrot jeans to an oversized blazer and strappy black sandals.

A boho blouse with gold necklaces
In the boho winter, the overwhelming trend of the season, a lace blouse, ruffles and
a relaxed air goes well even with flared jeans and black accessories.
A special cardigan
When knitwear is increasingly present in the outfits of those who know the most about fashion, even for a dinner we find pieces as special as this curly knit one that is styled with a good belt and some stilettos.
