The gap to Espanyol is 2 points with one game to go.
Galatasaray crowned champions of Turkey for third consecutive year
Galatasaray are champions of Turkey for the 25th time in total and the third time in a row. The club from Istanbul needed only a 3-0 win over Kayserispor to win the title on their own. Arch-rivals Fenerbahçe defeated Eyüpspor 2-1, but the team of coach José Mourinho will not be able to bridge the 8-point deficit in the next two matches.Striker Victor Osimhen opened the scoring for Galatasaray in the 26th minute with his 25th league goal of the season. The other goals came from Baris Yilmaz and goalkeeper Fernando Muslera, who converted a penalty.Galatasaray also secured the Turkish Cup earlier this month.
