Her Côte d’Azur ensemble was boho style at its most elegant; the highlight was a burgundy-and-navy sundress taken from Stella McCartney’s 2015 resort collection. Up top, the sleeveless piece featured a blue zigzag print, while the skirt was split into two color combinations—burgundy with royal blue, and coral with chocolate brown—in a scattered paisley pattern. (Sadly, the dress is no longer available to shop online, other than via some resale sites.)
Amal paired the ’70s-inspired dress with classic accessories, including a black leather handbag, dangly gold earrings, and large square sunglasses with brown frames. She was pictured arm in arm with George, who kept things simple in a black polo, beige pants, silver aviator shades, and a silver watch with a black leather band.
The couple’s romantic French Riviera getaway came several weeks after they celebrated their 10-year wedding anniversary. The Ocean’s Eleven actor and the British barrister and human-rights activist married in a lavish wedding in Venice on September 27, 2014. They now share two children, seven-year-old twins Ella and Alexander.
