The 2026 Emmy Awards had it all: host Mariska Hargitay repeatedly breaking into song; Nick Offerman waxing lyrical about “erotic house painting”; John Mulaney reading an excerpt from A Guy’s Guide to Being a Man’s Man; guest appearances by Jalen Brunson and Taylor Swift; and moving tributes to icons such as Dolly Parton, Catherine O’Hara, Rob Reiner and James Burrows.
