hen it comes to royal fashion, our attention is often turned to figures like Princess Catherine and Duchess Meghan, who dominate headlines every time they leave the house. But one person who shouldn’t be counted out is Princess Sofia of Sweden, the Duchess of Värmland.
Back in February 2025, the Swedish royal gave birth to her fourth child, Princess Ines Marie Lilian Silvia, leading her to take a break from public engagements as she embarked on a year of maternity leave. Then, toward the start of this year, Sofia returned to her public duties, all the while proving that she hadn’t lost her chic sense of style. And as we reach the end of summer, it appears that an all-white look has become one of her strongest, and most consistent, uniforms.
Since easing her way back into the spotlight, Sofia has embraced a palette of milky hues, stepping out in everything from a draping Arakii gown in eggshell to a tennis-inspired bright-white Andiata minidress and an embroidered Stenströms cardigan in cream.

The princess has been on a streak of all-white looks recently.
For the visit, Sofia wore a monochromatic look that consisted of a fitted tee with mid-length sleeves paired with a striking set of bottoms—billowing wide-leg pants with pleats all the way around. For a couple finishing touches, she added pointy white pumps to match and a silver statement watch from Rolex, but it was hard to focus on anything but those trousers.
Sometimes, all you need is a great pair of pants to add that “wow” factor.
