Heidi Klum consistently draws attention with her daring 
red-carpet looks and has made it clear for years that she is not influenced by the opinions of others. In a candid interview with the magazine “George V Magazine,” the wife of Tokio Hotel guitarist Tom Kaulitz now speaks openly about her experiences with menopause, aiming to destigmatize a topic that many women still remain silent about.

Heidi suffers from hot flashes.

Heidi Klum is not spared the typical side effects of menopause, but the GNTM boss takes it with humor.

“Suddenly I was always hot. And I’m still always hot: I’m hotter than ever right now,” the 52-year-old joked cheerfully. A stark contrast to before, as she admits. She used to be a real “cold-weather wimp,” always feeling the cold.

Sleepless nights

But the heat isn’t the only thing that’s changed in the model mom’s life. The nights have also become shorter. “I used to sleep soundly. Now I’m constantly awake,” says Klum. Her night is over by 6:00 a.m. at the latest.

But instead of complaining, the workaholic uses her involuntary early shift for her business: From now on, the early morning hours belong to her email inbox. A true powerhouse woman turns even sleepless nights into productive work time.

End the taboo topic

Heidi is deliberately speaking about her menopause and wants to bring a topic into the spotlight that is still largely taboo in society. “People don’t really talk about it,” she criticizes. “Yet I think it’s so important that we share our experiences and destigmatize these topics.” A powerful plea for more female solidarity and openness.

Glamorous appearance despite pain

Heidi proved just a few days ago that absolutely nothing can stop her, neither menopause nor physical pain. Although she had been seen limping in the hospital with a painful muscle tear shortly before the film festival, she walked the red carpet at the opening gala in Cannes.

Wearing killer high heels and a breathtaking, floor-length gown, she posed radiantly for the flashing cameras of the photographers.
