Their romance lasts for years, but Zendaya claims it’s Holland privacy.
“It’s not my moment, it’s hers,” Tom declared. “If we appear together, then everything revolves around us, and I want her to have her own space to shine.” He also applies this principle to other events, such as her theater performances, because he does not want his fame to distract from his colleagues or the project in which Zendaya is involved.
As well as trying to support her career without unduly detracting from her focus, Tom also revealed his plans for the future – he dreams of the day he retires from the industry to devote himself to family life. “When I have children, you won’t see me in movies anymore. I’m going to be a dad and a golfer. And I’ll just disappear.”
Although they are both superstars, their daily lives are far more down-to-earth. Holland revealed that they have two dogs together, Noon and Daphne, and enjoy the simple moments – from cooking to unplanned challenges, like Tom’s attempt to impress Zendaya and her cousin with a somersault. “Z said to me, ‘Are you sure you can still do it?'” he recalled with a laugh, adding that although he successfully pulled off the trick, he paid the price with strained muscles.
At the end, Holland took the opportunity to praise Zendaya, calling her “the best thing that ever happened to him.” He also paid tribute to her culinary skills, singling out her spicy vodka pasta as a favorite dish.
Their relationship may not be constantly in the spotlight, but it’s this subtlety and mutual respect that makes it so special.
