Maia Sandu condemns the Russian attack on the children’s hospital in Kiev: Shocking that some still deny these atrocities.

“It’s about innocent children, about bombs hitting hospitals where little ones are fighting cancer. It’s about children dying in their mothers’ arms. It is a war against children. It is shocking that some still deny these atrocities. Moldova strongly condemns these war crimes”, wrote Maia Sandu on her Facebook page.

The leader from Chisinau called for unity for a future where every child “has the chance to live in peace and well-being”.

“Let’s be united for the right to life of these children and many children traumatized by war, for a future where every child has the chance to live in peace and well-being. Today’s world is totally different from the one before February 2022 – we have to focus on what really matters: stopping the killing of these innocent souls”, pointed out the president of the Republic of Moldova.

One of the strongest attacks

Russia launched missiles at Kiev and other Ukrainian cities on July 8 in a rare daytime attack, killing at least 20 people across the country and hitting a major children’s hospital in the country’s capital.

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschiko said the attack on the capital was one of the most powerful since Russia’s February 2022 invasion.

He said the city’s main children’s hospital was damaged in the attack. Windows were smashed and panels ripped off. Parents with children in their arms came out into the street, dizzy and crying.

Kyiv city authorities also said seven people were killed and at least 25 wounded in the attack on the capital. In Zelenskiy’s hometown, ten people were killed and 31 injured, Mayor Oleksandr Vilkul announced.

Three other people were killed in Pokrovsk in eastern Ukraine when rockets hit an industrial facility, the governor of the Donetsk region said.

Kyiv leader Volodymyr Zelensky said Russian forces had launched more than 40 missiles that targeted various cities and damaged infrastructure, commercial and residential buildings in various Ukrainian cities.

“All services are involved to save as many people as possible ,” informed Volodymyr Zelenskiy via the Telegram application.

Democrats Will Not Provide Votes To Advance DHS Funding Bill In Wake of MPLS Shooting, Schumer Says

“What’s happening in Minnesota is appalling —and unacceptable in any American city. Senate Democrats will not provide the votes to proceed to the appropriations bill if the DHS funding bill is included.”
