Four cities, more than a hundred shows. Countless selfies and photos captured. In the models’ camera roll, the Spring/Summer 2027 Fashion Week is perhaps seen from its best angle: theirs.

Fashion Week, the other side of the coin. On the catwalk, they only spend a few seconds. But backstage, the top models have hours, and a phone. So they use it, and while the hairdressers backcomb and the dressers pin, they confess in selfies, sanctifying everything in sight: their shoes, their accessories, their makeup, their friends, and their shared moments. Far from the season’s thousand polished images, here there are no dogmas, just immediacy, blurriness, and laughter. From this grand fashion event, the models hold a hushed mass , and then leave behind, on social media, the most tender of their archives.

Cool behind the scenes

This season, for example, we can see behind the scenes of the grand farewell show by Anthony Vaccarello at Saint Laurent, marking his ten years as creative director. Achol Ayor poses in his look, while Karyna Maziar captures the guestbook filled with kind words from the models for the Belgian designer. We also encounter designers themselves in their images: Alina Miller with Matthieu Blazy backstage at Chanel, or Cala Moragas in the arms of Pierpaolo Piccioli at Balenciaga.

Accessories are examined up close: the metal fringe from the Louis Vuitton show , worn by Masha Skokova and captured by Imane Benkaddour; Flavie Sammartano’s sequined Fendi bag; Sunday Rose Kidman’s XXL necklaces at Valentino; Victoria Blecher’s straw hat at Ralph Lauren; and Natasha Poly’s heels at Chanel. We discover the top models’ survival tips (a nap for Anne Floor Wetemans, bandages on her feet for Stella Hanan). Familiar faces from the fitting rooms mingle with rising stars , from Jasper Funk to Frauke Nijs, including Lauren Huyskens, Reagan Lee, Reina Spoormaker, Thalita Ferreira, and Saar Mansvelt Beck. And fashion itself emerges all the more beautiful.
