Alex Morgan Addresses Allegations Of Toxic Culture At San Diego Wave

San Diego Wave forward Alex Morgan has addressed recent accusations made by former club employees who claim the NWSL team has fostered an environment detrimental to mental health.

On Wednesday, former Wave video and creative manager Brittany Alvarado released an extensive statement accusing club president Jill Ellis of creating a culture of abuse within the organization.

In response, the San Diego Wave issued a statement categorically denying the accusations against her, describing them as “inaccurate and defamatory.” The club also indicated that it would be pursuing all legal avenues in response to these claims.
