Leaked details confirm the existence of the regular Galaxy S25 and the Galaxy S25 Ultra. However, the Galaxy S25 Plus is notably absent. The model numbers for the forthcoming Samsung phones include SM-S931B/DS, SM-S938B, SM-S938U, SM-S938N, and SM-S9380, indicating the presence of the standard and Ultra versions, but no Plus model.

Initial leaks regarding the Galaxy S24 series, released in July 2023, indicated a traditional three-model lineup consisting of the S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra.

However, recent leaks point to a deviation from this pattern for the S25 series, with Samsung likely opting for only two models. This change is believed to be driven by the underwhelming sales performance of the S24 Plus, prompting the company to reconsider its approach.

Previously, Samsung distinguished the S24+ with a superior display compared to the standard S24. Both the S23 and S23+ featured 1080 x 2340 resolution screens, but the S24+ boasted a higher resolution of 1440 x 3120.

Despite this enhancement, consumer interest in the Plus model remained low, leading to its potential discontinuation in the S25 series.

As Samsung prepares to launch its new lineup, the focus will likely shift to the regular Galaxy S25 and the feature-rich Galaxy S25 Ultra, reflecting the company’s response to market trends and consumer preferences.
